St. Catherine's Place, Bedminster, Bristol
CSJ Planning have gained hybrid planning permission (both outline and full) for a major regeneration scheme in Bedminster town centre.
The scheme, to be delivered in 7 phases, comprises 180 dwellings, public realm improvements, enhancement to the East Street frontage and complete refurbishment of St. Catherine’s Place Shopping Centre.
Working with Stride Treglown Architects, the scheme successfully tackles complex constraints of flood risk, contamination and archaeology. When delivered it will form the centre piece of the new Bedminster Green Regeneration Area, a highly sustainable location for much needed housing growth in central Bristol. It will also halt the decades of under investment and get people living and working in this vibrant part of South Bristol.
