Submission of Major Stokes Croft Mixed Use Application

CSJ Planning have recently submitted a full planning application on behalf of Red Oak Property for a mixed-use development on a prominent site at the junction of Stokes Croft and Moon Street within the Stokes Croft Conservation Area.


The scheme comprises 190 student bedrooms, predominantly set over five floors with a new recessed courtyard and flexible commercial floorspace fronting Stokes Croft and turning the corner into Moon Street. Student communal facilities are also located on the ground floor with an internal courtyard set at first floor level in order to provide private amenity space for future residents. The design comprises a comprehensive re-design further to a past refused application in October 2019 on the same site. The revised scheme provides an exciting opportunity to bring this partially vacant site back into an active and vibrant use.
