Description

CSJ Planning has secured planning permission for the demolition of this existing but redundant public house with the re-development of a guest house comprising 19 bedrooms. The permission represents the culmination of almost 9 months effort, following extensive negotiations with Officers at Bristol City Council. A previous application was withdrawn to allow for further design negotiations. The proposal offers an excellent opportunity to replace a dilapidated, unused and structurally unsound building and will also support the economy through the development of tourism. The design of the proposal is contemporary but reflects key ingredients and local character and recognises the historic memory and appearance of the former Red Cow Public House. The proposal will also bring several jobs to the local area.
