Full planning permission was secured by CSJ Planning for the demolition and re-development of this site's existing storage and distribution premises and associated office space, use classes B1 and B8. 

The planning permission has secured the development of a 21st century storage and distribution warehouse and ancillary office accommodation, which is DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) compliant.  It also allows the forecourt to be laid out properly enabling better movement within the site.  It has increased the size of the storage and office unit from 260 sq.m GEA to 995 sq. m GEA.

The application had to deal with a variety of issues relating to over shadowing of adjacent residential caravans, landscaping, tree removal and replanting, the relocation of the car parking spaces, identification of an external storage area and confirmation that the office area would remain ancillary to the B8 use.
