CSJ Planning acting for Langley Holdings Plc. has achieved a change of use permission from B8 warehousing to B1 light industrial to enable Bradman-Lake Ltd. to relocate from Brislington to Keynsham.
The site is located in a core employment area to the east of Keynsham, near Ashmead Trading Estate off Unity Road.
The site is however, bounded by residential properties to two sides and thus issues of noise, deliveries, storage etc. had to be rigorously explained along with an assessment of the existing site in Bristol and the operations to confirm light industrial activities.
The application will be a significant boost to the local economy by bringing a vacant industrial unit back in productive use.
The application was validated on 15th February 2017 and permission issued on 11th April 2017 within the determination period. (Ref: 17/00487/FUL)
